Treating Red rash (fungal rash) under breasts after playing beach volleyball

Subject: Breast rash
I have had a red rash under my breasts for about 3 months which I think I got while I was playing beach volleyball. The sand sometimes gets underneath my bathing suit top and scratches the skin, which is sometimes sweaty. I assumed it was a heat rash but after reading some letters on your website, I feel it might be related to my other episodes of fungus.

I had a bout of Tinea versicolor about a year ago which was taken care of by ketoconzole tablets. I also have a mild foot fungus which I am having treated by a dermatologist.

I was wondering what you would suggest for the breast rash. Is it related to the tinea? And if so, is this a candida issue?

Thank you for your advice.

Hi,

Rashes in this area are most commonly fungal with various fungal organisms causing them. As most creams contain antifungal antibiotics they are usually ONLY effective against up to 3 different fungi.

Our breast rash cream:-

  • firstly contains no water which fungi need to grow
  • secondly it contains zinc oxide in a very protective and soothing base to prevent chafing and soreness.
  • Finally, it has the mineral Boric acid in it which is an excellent antifungal and antibacterial.
As our Breast Rash cream has a broad spectrum of action it will work against ALL fungal and any secondary bacterial infection that may be present.

Just apply it thickly in the affected skin folds at night and put on an old tea shirt as the white base can stain clothing. Wash it off in the morning shower.

Repeat this process and after about 14 days the problem should be gone or at least much better. Continue until the problem has been gone for at least 7 days before you stop. Ensure all your bathers, bras e.t.c are washed in a HOT wash as they can harbor fungal spores and reinfect you.

Kind Regards,
David Hosking.
