Hi,
What you have is the standard prescribed treatment for rash under the
breasts. You will need to apply it at least twice a day to get results and
immediately after swimming.
I assume the rashes in the area under your breasts in the skin fold where
the breast joins the abdomen.
This treatment very often is successful. Both being creams they will wash
off when you swim. Betnovate is a high potency cortisone which should NOT be
used for long periods as it can cause the skin to thin. Ideally this
combination will work well for you.
We recommend our breast rash cream when
treatments like you have described
are not working. Firstly the breast rash cream
is a 100g jar of a waterproof
antifungal formula. It is applied before swimming and the excess removed
before putting on your swimsuit. After swimming when you are dry reapply it.
When not swimming use it twice a day until the problem clears up.
It is waterproof so protects you from sweat, chlorine and heat in spas, It
can be used long term with prefect safety but normally fixes the problem in
14 days or so. Then you just use it again if the problem recurs.
If you swim once a week or more it is excellent to apply before a swim to
prevent the problem.
Clotrimazole and Betnovate should NOT be used preventively due to long term
side-effects.
For short term use they should work well for you.
Kind Regards,
David Hosking.
