Curing severe NAPPY Rash FAST !!!

History of our Nappy Rash (Diaper rash) Cream

But when my own children were born I soon discovered such raw, sore nappy rash could develop on my Bub's overnight.   It seemed the combination of a loose bowel (poo) action (diarrhoea) together with urine (pee, wee) could SCALD a Babies buttocks in a matter of hours !!

We tried all the "usual creams", added tar and oils to the bath and even had Antibiotic and Cortisone products prescribed by Doctors.   NOTHING seemed to protect our tots skin long enough for complete healing to occur.  The rash would clear up quite a bit during the day but then got WORSE during the night!

It was clear no skin care treatment could work unless it could protect the little ones tender skin completely for the whole night. But the cream had to be gentle and not sting when it was applied to raw areas with very bad nappy rash. The nappy rash ointment would need an antiseptic to protect the skin from the bacteria in bowel motions but be completely non-irritant to the sensitive damaged skin.

We managed to develop a natural skin care cream with all those benefits from NATURAL active ingredients which included three medicinal Plant Balsams in a zinc-rich water repellent special dermatological base. It promotes RAPID healing and creates a barrier that repels irritants and bacteria coming from urine (pee, wee) and bowel (poop) motions.

How do I clear up Nappy Rash FAST ?

1. To PREVENT NAPPY RASH (Ammonia Dermatitis) occuring
   Apply at the first sign of Redness.
   After one or two applications your babies skin should be normal again. The healing plant balsams in the cream may form droplets in the jar as you use the cream. This does not in any way alter the creams effectiveness. The herbal balsams can causes a slight brown color on cloth nappies. Simply use a Nappy Liner to avoid this.
   
   
2. To use in very COLD Weather
   If the cream becomes very cold on frosty nights it may become too thick to easily apply. Simply store the cream in a warmer room or place the jar in hot water to soften.
   
   
3. Nappy Rash caused by Gastro-Enteritis
   If your baby has loose and frequent bowel motions (diarrhoea) due to food intolerance or gastroenteritis then simply use the cream at EVERY napkin change. Healing will be slower as your babies skin is continously exposed to urine (pee, wee) and loose bowel (poo) actions (diarrhoea).
   
   PLEASE CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST IF GASTRO-ENTERITIS IS SEVERE OR (E.G. SEVERE or CHRONIC DIARRHOEA) CONTINUES FOR MORE THAN 1 OR 2 DAYS.
   
   Signs that your baby is suffering severe gastroenteritis are a fatigued look mid a lack of energy. Also a sunken appearance around the eyes and the number of wet nappies becomes much less as urine (pee, wee) production stops.
   
   THIS IS A WARNING SIGN OF SEVERE GASTRO-ENTERITIS THAT MUST BE TREATED IMMEDIATELY

DO's and DON'T for curing Nappy Rash fast

• Washing your tots bottom more often than is required can actually increased the likelihood of nappy rashes as this practise can irritate the toddlers skin and remove its natural barrier against wetness
• Do NOT use Baby Wipes as these are often irritant to damaged skin on your toddlers bottom.
• Rather than baby wipes use a cloth and warm water and then gently 'pat' the skin dry, rather than 'rubbing' vigorously which may cause more irritation to your baby's behind
• Do NOT use Talcum Powder on the Nappy area
• An old wives tale which we have found seems to work is to avoid Broccoli in the diet when Nappy rash is present. Broccoli is fine to give when the nappy rash has healed again

  i read the post you guys wrote re nappy rash cream and allergens - this pharmay makes their own nappy rash cream and IT IS THE BEST! when J first got n/rash, it was so bad it was bleeding. I was about to take him to the docs and someone put me on to this stuff, it was someone what cleared up after one application, and almost fixed within 24 hours. Best stuff ever.   Hi. Can't help on the intollerance thing, but if all the other suggestions for bum cream fail, try David Hosking's Soothing & Healing Nappy Rash Cream. David Hosking is a pharmacist in Melbourne whose kids had really, really bad bum rash when they were little and he and his pharmacist wife ended up coming up with their own brand of bum cream after trying every other one they could find. I've seen really bad rash clear up super quickly.
