David stresses that animal skin conditions is NOT an area that he has devoted research time to!
However he believes that none of his products would harm animals (with the exception that the Tinea Cream should NOT be used for Cat Ringworm, and the Scalp Treatment should also NOT be used on pets)
I have an unusual problem. I have a Bichon Frise x Shih tsu which is always scratching. she has a flea bite allergy, but I suspect also many plant allergies. Her skin is not obviously red ( except with the odd flea bite- only 1 or 2 visible), but she is very distressed with the scratching. I've clipped her coat very short & to skin level at the lower part of her belly. I don't want to go down the cortisone - either orally or dermally track. I use a gentle dog shampoo on her monthly & flea treatment, which includes preventing ova We are also trying dietry changes.
I tried the Psorexederm on her where she scratches, I seemed to stop the problem immediately. My only problem is that, being very thick, it is difficult to get to the skin level in some areas& makes the coat very messy. Do you think the scalp lotion would be more effective?
Warm regards,However our Extra Strength Psorexederm ointment but has NO zinc in it so will go on colorless although it is still greasy. It is not as thick to apply so may be easier and certainly is less messy to use.
You can order for the same price as our Psorexederm cream .
