I have recently been diagnosed with a rare skin condition called PLEVA (Pityriasis Lichenoides). In my case this was a very severe ulcerating condition which has taken 2 months (so far) to get under control using a variety of steroid creams, antibiotics, medications etc.
Due to the severity of the ulcers which caused a lot of the epidermis to erode, I have been left with a substantial amount of scarring. The steriod cream is working quite effectively, however once they sores have healed I'd prefer to move away from using such large quantities of cortisone.I was interested if there is a cream / treatment that you could recommed that may assist with reducing scarring. The worst affected areas are in all flexors including the groin area, however they are also on my neck, face and under the bust.
Any suggestions / advice would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you,I would recommend you try our Psorexederm cream. It is very soothing and quite safe and effective even in the groin and genital areas. The cream has a zinc and coal tar base with vitamins A&D to aid healing. It is especially good if the epidermis is dry or eroded and won't sting.
Apply it at night as it is white in color and wipe off any excess with a soft cloth such as an old towel. It can be used more often (twice a day is ideal) although the white color can be a drawback unless you are home for the day. During the day it can be applied to the groin area using a panty liner to protect the clothing. Please let me know the results.
Kind Regards,
David Hosking.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my email. Apologies for not mentioning it sooner.
My mother suffers from Psorisis and also uses this cream and so i have been using it for approx 3 weeks now. I am finding that the "test" areas (I am unable to use it everywhere yet as some areas are still open sores) have faded considerably and hopefully will continue to do so. I will endeavour to let you know how it all goes in the new year.Once again thank you very much :)
