Treating Pompholyx, also known as dyshidrotic eczema, vesicular hand eczema

What is Pompholyx eczema, also known vesicular hand eczema?

Pompholyx also called dyshidrotic eczema or vesicular hand eczema is a common and annoying problem that responds rapidly to our Psorexederm cream bringing rapid relief to the itch and irritating small blisters.

What causes Pompholyx Eczema on the hands to get worse?

The problem is often made worse
  • by washing dishes in hot water
  • Contact with spray on household cleaning products
  • the juices of vegetables when cutting them up to prepare food
We get excellent results in treating this common and annoying problem with our Psorexederm cream. (Cortisone is rarely needed).

The conditions that causes Pompholyx Eczema to get worse in more detail are:-

  • washing dishes in hot water as the heat causes more of the tiny itchy water-filled vesicles (tiny pimples under the skin) to form under the skin. So you should wear gloves and also reduce the temperature of washing water.
  • Contact with spray on cleaning products normally used at home should be reduced as this is another trigger factor. Generally the itch and tiny vesicles will come up 1-2 days after exposure to the irritating factor.
  • the juices of vegetables when cutting them up when preparing food. Again gloves will solve this.

Pompholyx Eczema also occurs on the Feet

Pompholyx can also affect the feet both on the soles or on the sides of the feet. Our Psorexederm Eczema Cream is very effective on the feet and also contains the mineral anti-fungal agent boric acid so can be used if Tinea is suspected as well.

How to Treat Pompholyx Eczema on the Hands or Feet

For rapid relief use our psorexederm cream. Psorexederm cream is a white zinc based protective cream that includes coal tar to reduce itch and inflammation and vitamin A&D to heal the skin. Apply a quantity to the hands and massage it in at night allowing it to melt into your hands and be absorbed by the skin. It is oily so take several minutes to allow the skin to absorb it and then use a soft cloth to wipe of any excess. Also apply it once during the day or more often to relieve itch.

Generally twice a day will fix the problem quite quickly.

Other things that can trigger the problem are listed above, and avoiding these will ensure the healing process occurs as quickly as possible.

You can expect results almost immediately and hopefully this will give you some ideas to avoid the problem once the Psorexederm cream has healed it.

QUESTION: I recently contracted pompholyx on hands, how do I treat this?

Hello David My daughter who is living in Malaysia has recently contracted pompholyx on her hands. She was initially given a course of cortisone tablets. Which was fine when taking tablets but condition returned immediately she stopped.

Have you any information or suggestions you could recommend. Has your cream helped anyone with this condition?

If her hands are itchy it will soothe the itch so apply it more often if it is needed. Generally twice a day will fix the problem quite quickly.

Other things that can trigger the problem are the juices of vegetables when she is cutting them up when preparing food. Again gloves will solve this. I think she will be very happy with the results and hopefully this will give her some ideas to work out the trigger and avoid further problems.

TESTIMONIAL:

On a Monday I went to David Hosking's Pharmacy with a particularly bad case of pompholyx - eczema on both hands. David took one look at the condition (which had already been diagnosed by my G.P.) and suggested a 100g jar of Psorexederm Cream. He applied a sample on my hands, I rubbed it in and the itching was immediately somewhat relieved.

I bought a jar and applied it as directed when I got home. By Wednesday midday, the pompholyx had to all intents cleared up. A wonder cream that really does work!! I had been in despair previously.

Thank you, David Hosking!!!
Kind regards
