Q&A - Hair Health and use of EGO or Neutrogena Tgel Shampoo Products

Thank you for the good feedback Shirley, Daily washing of the hair is an excellent way to maintain hair health and will not thin the hair or cause you to lose more hair, that is a commonly believed misconception. You wash your body daily and you can and should wash your hair daily too.

Of course, with perms and other styles some people will not wish to do this understandably so in such cases I really recommend at least 3 times a week washes, less than that and scaling and oiliness build up will aggravate the problem.

I recommend EGO products as they are readily available in Australia and New Zealand. However the Neutrogena Tgel range is available in most countries and is just as good.

Of course should you wish to order the EGO sebitar and matching conditioner we could arrange that but try daily use of the Neutrogena if you are able to get it.

A good diet and a vitamin and mineral complex may help to some slight degree and is good for general well being. Good sources of protein such as meat and dairy products help provide the building blocks for hair formation too.

Cortisone based products may have caused your hair to become thinner but this will reverse with time.

Use our scalp lotion until you are happy with the condition of your scalp then continue simply washing your hair daily with a tar based shampoo and conditioner as mentioned.

If the condition should return then reuse the lotion to get it under control again. However daily washing with the EGO or Neutrogena Tgel products should keep things under control and are safe for long term use.

If you would like us to add the EGO products to our website we can, so let us know if you would like us to make them available.

Kind Regards,

I just received my order and am very happy with it already. I have seen a dramatic change. I am thinking that when I stop using this lotion that it will come back. What I need to know is how often I need to continue using the lotion.

Anything information you can tell me about future use will be greatly appreciated. I also want to know where I can buy the EGO shampoo and conditioner that you recommended . Anything I need to know about future use is what I really would like to know. If I need to continue using this lotion and how often. Thank you.

I want to tell you that I have been to a number of Drs. and dermatologist and tried every kind of shampoo that I can get at the store. Through all of this my hair is very thin and I am hoping that you can recommend something to help this problem as well.
