We have bought some nappy rash cream from you and found it was excellent. What we are looking for now is some cream for impetigo, it is for our little girl who is only 1 year of age. The doctor has given us some toxic cream, but we are too frightened to use this as one part of her nose has cracked. We have an ecinacea cream, and a barrier cream but it's not good enough. Have you got a magic cream for us to use.We hope you, David, can save the day!

Impetigo is a staph infection of the skin but easily fixed with safe antibiotics. Bactroban is my choice as it is a prescription antibiotic cream which is fast acting and safe to use.. Some doctors prescribe kenacomb or otocomb (same thing, different name) which does contain a strong cortisone but works rapidly so the actual cortisone absorbed even with broken skin is very little. Both products should clear it within 2 weeks maximum.

For very bad cases the doctor may also prescribe an antibiotic mixture which is safe to use but as all antibiotics, it may cause a little diarrhoea.

I am a 63 woman. I have Granuloma Annulare. Over the coarse of 5 years it has covered a third of my body and doesn't show any signs of getting any better. Doctor's have no solutions for me. Does your product work for this awful disease?
Please have a look at our page :- treat-psoriasis-excema_granulomaannulare.htm which includes the words:- "Your doctor probably is as concerned as you are because although the problem looks bad cosmetically and would concern most people, the immune system often will clear the problem itself even though that may take quite a long time. Effective treatment is possible by using a coal tar product such as our Psorexederm cream under occlusion at night and remove in the morning. What that means is at bedtime you apply a thickish layer ( a bit like jam on toast ) to an area just a bit larger than area affected then wrap the area in plastic cling wrap. The same stuff you use in the kitchen to cover bowls to keep things fresh. (Technically known in dermatology as polyethylene film.) Our Psorexederm Cream is quite safe to use even on sensitive skin on the inner thigh and even in the genital areas and does not sting. " Please read the full article, it indicates the answer is 'yes' - please feel free to discuss further with David if needed.

i have a 5 month old baby girl who had developed a rash when she was about 2mnths old. It started on the cheeks and after a few weeks spread to her neck, torso, elbow and behind her knees. It was especially bad on her cheeks, neck and the skin on her elbow would crack and peel. We have changes her milk (several times), seen doctors, tried many diff type of creams. I chanced upon this website while surfing the net for answers on my many sleepless nights worrying for my baby girl. After using you Lavender Balm for Infants for 3 days, there's so much improvement! The rashes on her neck has cleared up, only a small pink spot on elbow remains and the her cheek (the worst) is so much better now. But I've only been using this for 3 DAYS and it has worked wonders!! Finally...something that really works. Can't wait to tell the Dr on our next visit! Thank you so very much for giving us back our baby girl!!, Mum in Singapore
Thank you Mum in Singapore, It always gives me great pleasure to hear of peoples results. The product is completely safe to use for long periods. It is very useful for many things. You can use it yourself for dry lips, dry skin and rough hands from having to clean up after baby all the time. When your baby is old enough to go swimming she may have grown out of the sensitive skin stage. If her skin is still sensitive, just apply the balm to her skin before swimming and after swimming to protect her skin from the chlorine. In Australia babies often start to learn to swim at 1 year of age which I think is a good thing as they are able to learn very quickly and enjoy it. Both my daughters could swim well with armband floaties by 2 years of age. Hope this helps, Kind Regards, David Hosking.

I purchased the facial balm for my 12 month old son and the eczema cream for my husband. The rash all over my son's body, cleared up within 7 days. The eczema on my husband's ankle has almost cleared up (which is a miracle in itself, since he tried everything going on the market) I don't think it will be too much longer till its healed comopletely.

These products are absolutely phenomonal. We are extremely pleased with the results and will be telling others about your website.

I was wondering if any of your creams would help diminish a keloid scar (from a C Section.) Many thanks, S

Hi S,

Keloid scars can be completely healed and a scar from a caeserian birth is usually narrow and long. Keloid scars can be quite massive , for example, severe burn scars, the larger the scar the more time and treatment is required to clear it up.

Keloid scars can be treated by covering the scar with a product that protects the skin and enhances normal skin growth. There are products on the market such as cicacare silicone sheets which cover the wound and are applied daily until the keloid has healed. These are costly but can be effective.

Treatments I would recommend are applying our facial balm twice a day for at least a month. We have found it clears up severly damaged skin from eczema and many other causes since it has an occlusive property which holds moisture in the skin and protects it providing a god healing environment. There is another product we have called Bio-Oil (not made by us but very good results achieved by our customers)

Since you already have the facial balm I would try that first and if visible improvement is not seen in a month, then try the Bio-Oil.

Kind Regards, David Hosking.

Hi David : My name is Zoey. My 5 months old son has rash on his face about one month ago. It is red , dry and peeling. Almost bleeding. My pediatrician gave him "Clotrimazole Cream USP, 1%" . However, it seems not improved and growing. Which product should I use? What is your advise? Hope to hear you soon. Thanks.
Hi Zoey, It is a little bit difficult to diagnose without more info, Ideally if you could email me a picture that would be great. Alternately, if you can describe what the rash looks like e.g wet or dry , peeling or scaly , the size of the affected area, what products you have used and how long you used them and the results. That would give me a good basis to give you more accurate advise. Kind Regards, David Hosking.

Hello! This is Carly from America, and I wanted to let you know that I ordered your fragrance-free baby face balm, and I LOVE IT! My poor 5 month old had such terrible dry skin on his face and body. His forehead would just flake and his body had little blistered eczema patches on it. Once I started to use the balm, he was a new baby! Now if I go even 2 days without using the balm on his forehead, he is scratching it because I'm sure it gets so dry in our cold South Dakota winter air. Thank you so much for making such an incredible product. My baby has such sensitive skin, and has had troubles with other products I have purchased locally. I recommend this product to anyone whose child has skin problems. Sincerely, Carly
Hi Carly, Thanks for the lovely feedback. It really makes us feel great that you have taken the time to let us know. You are correct about the effects of dry air on children's skin. Australia has dry air in the South too. We are joking about our Australian White Christmas, everything is so dry due to drought that the grass is bleached white ! Also the balm is excellent on your hands at the end of a long day cleaning up after your baby. Just rub some on you hands each night and you will have the nicest hands of all the mothers you know. Have a Great New Year, Kind Regards, David Hosking.

My daughter is 19 months old and has a bad dribble rash. I wanted to order your hypoallergenic face and body balm but before I spend the money to get the large jar, would it be possible to try some samples of it to see if it works?
I would recommend you order a small 100gram hypoallergenic face and body balm, if you find it doesn't work for your daughter let us know and our full refund will apply.

How is your nappy rash cream different from the product called Sensi-care for curing a bed sore that is 1/8 inch deep?
16th NOVEMBER 2006
Hello Dr. David, My husbant and I just started using the Tinea cream. We are about to finish the jar and we just ordered 4 more jars. It looks like it is working and we are compeating arround the jar. I can't wait until it is completely gone. I've had a rash for a about 6 years now that I believe, I got from the gym, while using the mats everybody else sweats on.It is on my back (in the curve of my spine), my stomack (the linea alba) and underneath the breast arround the bra line and on my shoulders (like brownish spots). I have been using Acidophilus internaly and it comes and goes depending on my immune system and if I take it all the time. I have tried Tea tree oil cream and other antifungal over the counter treatments but as I said it comes and goes. The doctor did not pay close attention when I went to visit (because it is not very visible to the eye). You have to look very close to see the spores. He said that it was some "discoloration in pigmentation"...??? I knew that it was some kind of fungus because it was itchy and I had red the book "The Quiet Epidemic" about yeast in the body and all the different allergies one can develope from Candida overgrowth. On the other hand, my husbant developed a big red rash in the groin area after returning from South America where he had lasic surgery. He said he was sweating there alot since ther was not airconditioning. We couldn't figure out what it was. He did had a fungus on his big toe and maybe he transfered it with a wet towel while drying from the feet to the groin. Now he uses different towels for the different areas of the body, so he doesn't transfer the infection. After reading you website I was able to finaly diagnose him and myself. Now I know that it is Tinea. Thank you for providing this information on your website and helping people. If this cream works I have alot of customers for you. I personaly know at least 10 people who will need this cream. I have aslo had dermatitis on my hands (allergy from dish washing detergent). I tried your psoriases cream and my allergy is also going away. The tinea cream gets on my hands too, so I don't know wich one is the one working better. But, hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the suffering. I just have one question. We experience some redness and burning right after application of the Tinea cream. Especially my husbant because ot the area where the tinea is the skin is very delicate. When we wake up in the morning the redness is gone. Is this normal? We beleave that maybe this is the way the medicine is killing the fungus. We hope that this is not an allergic reaction. We are the fungus family :) and we need your help. Please advice. Thank you Florida, USA
Thank you for your feedback on your tinea cream results. The redness in sensitive areas is normal but can be controlled in 2 ways, 1. apply very sparingly and spread well in those areas or 2. Alternately we can make up a half strength form for the genital area which may be easier for you to use (price would be the same , just give us an additional 7 days to prepare it)

We often "Taylor make" products for cases such as this so just copy this email and forward it to our Webmaster should you wish to get the half strength version for the genital areas.

Couple of extra tips on the website which are important: Wash towels, underwear etc in a HOT wash to kill fungal spores.

Wash the bath/shower recess once or twice a week with a chlorine based cleaner, I think in USA Clorox is a typical product. This prevents reinfection from the wet areas in your house.

If the feet are a problem you may be getting reinfection from your footwear. To prevent fungi lurking in your footwear get the product "deofresh" on the website and spray in the footwear when taking them off (sandals included) at night . once a week is adequate.

Hope this helps, Kind Regards, David Hosking.

Wow. I have been searching for an answer to my daughter\'s scalp inflammation. She is fourteen, black hair, and very embarrassed of her condition that she has had since she was two. After many dermatologist appts, many shampoos, tar treatments, oils, etc, this treatment thatI found in David Hosking\'s pharmacy worked miracles. You have made a teenager very, very happy and self confident and a mother relieved of watching her daughter embarrassed and ashamed. Thank you soo much and thank you for letting it be soo reasonably priced. I have forwarded your website to many friends.
Thanks for taking the time to let us know about the success your daughter has had! and passing on the good news to others. When David returns from overseas in the 2nd week of October he will very much enjoy reading this. Its always difficult for teenagers when they feel they are different to their peers, or at least that's the way I remember it - long time ago!

Comments: I have had rosacea for about 4 years. It went untreated for 3 years. I was getting to tho point that matter what I used on my face is was burning, scarring it, and causing it to go into a nasty flare. The flares I would go through were so bad that I could NOT touch my face with ANYTHING. I have it on my forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. It would look like I was in the sun for hours, and that is how it would feel. I would have dry flaky patches all over that would crack open and oose. I am only 24, didn\'t know how to handle it. I hated to go into public to the point that I would walk with my head down. I was taking an antibiotic for about a month that did clear it up, but was very expensive, had to stop taking it for two reasons. 1. I couldn\'t afford it. 2. I was pregnant again. =) I went back to my dermatologist and the only thing that they could give me that would not cause any kind of birth defect, was a sulpher based cream. I don\'t think it is something they used regularly, but she asked if we could try and see if it would, being she wasn\'t to sure herself. I agreed, and I love it. I put it on twice a day, only wash my face with cetaphil. That is the only kind of soap that does not irritate my skin. My face is finally clear and smooth after 4 years if only you could imagine. I may not use this particular product, but I do have to say that sulphur works. My daughter doesn\'t ask me when my booboos are going to go away, she now yells at me if I don\'t put it on everyday. Also I was informed that any exposure to the sun will make it worse, so I always where a hat or stay out of the sun. The only make up that should be worn is mineral makeup and you can find it cheap if you look. I just want to say that is great to have different alternatives other then medications, specially for something that a lot of people aren\'t knowledgabe about. If more people knew about this, I am sure it would change their lives like it did mine.
The only suggestion I would have is letting people know where they could get a sulpher based cream that is in the financial range. I understand that would take out of your pocket, but it should be about changing peoples lifes and confidence with in them. It really does if it to the point of feeling like there is no fix. You don\'t have to add this paragraph to your web site, I just thought I would suggest it because I do see that there are people who are interested in this product, but it is just not in their finacial range. I was lucky enough to find a compound center that would make my cream and a great price. I am glad that you are able to help the people you have helped.
Thanks J,

I am glad that after 4 years you have finally found a doctor who knows Suphur based creams do work for people with Rosacea.

As mentioned in our Rosacea section it can be legally purchased without the cost of getting a doctor to write a prescription and we also give our famous 100% money back guarantee if for any reason you are not satisfied.

Best of all the cream is safe to use whenever and for as long as you need too without any harmful effects. Thanks again for sharing your excellent results with sulphur on your rosacea.

Kind Regards, David Hosking.

I just received my order and am very happy with it already. I have seen a dramatic change. I am thinking that when I stop using this lotion that it will come back. What I need to know is how often I need to continue using the lotion. Anything information you can tell me about future use will be greatly appreciated. I also want to know where I can buy the EGO shampoo and conditioner that you recommended . Anything I need to know about future use is what I really would like to know. If I need to continue using this lotion and how often. Thank you. I want to tell you that I have been to a number of Drs. and dermatologist and tried every kind of shampoo that I can get at the store. Through all of this my hair is very thin and I am hoping that you can recommend something to help this problem as well.

Comments: I have been suffering with and I stress SUFFERING WITH Psoriasis for the past 15 years and like most p eople that are cursed with this condition, have spent a rather large amount of money and countless hou rs in Dr appointments and home research trying to get some reliefe from this curse. In that time I hav e had only two successful treatments both of which were developed in Melbourne. The first is by a Dr i n St Kilda that is convinced that once the primary trigger (Stress) for this condition is activated th ere are a number of secodary triggers that need to be avoided to eliminate the flare up. These range f rom types of food, life style, Drink, etc, etc. His treatment is prescribed after your blood group is identified so you can learn what types of foods to avoid. This proved to be affective but extremely ex pensive, the down side to this for me at least was that you were only free from Psoriasis for as long as you were on this expensive treatment, and you were required to have follow up consultations after s ix months in order to continue this treatment. This was just as expensive if not more than the treatme nt itself. I was informed of David Hoskings treatment by chance when I over heard a work mate talking about it to someone else. After his conversation I asked for more detail and was only told that it was a Chemist in Essendon. So the next week I took a day off work and walked the streets of Essendon aski ng every Chemist if they were the one with the Psoriasis treatment no one could help me and kept direc ting me to the commercially manufactured stuff that had no positive result for me when I used them. I started my Journey at 9.30am and by 3.30 pm had stumbled across a little Pharmacy on Keilor Rd, I walk ed in and was rather tired and distrot that I had no success. I was greated with a lovely smile and as ked if i needed help. I answered with what seemed to be my last breath by explaining my entire story t o the lovely lady behind the counter and asked are you the Pharmacy that makes their own Psoriasis cre am with that the lady smiled patted my hand and nodded yes. I could feel the tears start to well up in my eyes and asked her for help. She told me to have a seat and she would get David to come out and ha ve a chat with me. After that chat my life changed and two years later with only 4 purchases of the st ronger cream, I am 99.9% Psoriasis free with no sign of return. THe reason for only 99.9% clear up is entirly due to my lack of treatment as I have periods of she be right and leave it for awhile. The are as that were affected on me were the Buttocks, Feet, Knees, Waist / Hips, Finger nails, Elbows, Ears a nd Scalp. All were extreme after treating myself for two years I only have it in the nails and a small patch on each elbow by small I mean the size of a 10 cent coin. Why am I taking the time to share th is with you beacuse I know first hand the desperate mind of a Psoriasis sufferer and the dibillitating affect it has on the mind, not to mention the Physical distress. And like most long term sufferers ha ve become somewhat sceptical of the many testimonials written for so called wonder cures. I want every one to know my sittuation and feel compelled to share this with you, It works! by God it works! it may take awhile but if you stick with it you will be so glad you did. But here is the clincher or at leas t it was for me, of all the treatments and promises of cure out there how many have ever said to you t hat if you are not satisfied at any stage of using the product, you will get a 100% money back guarant ee? Never has this ever been offered during my years of trial and error and I can report that David is a man of his word as I have witnessed this money back gaurantee first hand. One of the people I recco mended to David had an allergy to Zinc and in the mild strength of the Psoriasis creams Zinc is one of the ingrediants. This person was not aware of the money back gaurantee and was shocked to no end, whe n David advised and offered the stronger cream which has no Zinc in it without charge or hesitation. I realise this is rather long but after it is all said and done I just want you to know that Davids tre atments have turned my life around and I will make it my business to tell all who a willing to read or listen to my testimony. Thank you David and thank you to the lovely lady with the heart felt smile.
A wonderful (anon) testimonial that is also presented here

All that I can say is THANK GOD FOR WHAT YOU HAVE CREATED AND THANK YOU!!!! My [baby son] has had eczema I guess since he was born. His cheeks were red at birth and since then the condition has worsened. I came across your site a while back but never ordered. I saw it as a sign when my mother came across it too and suggested that I ordered the cream. Anyway as not to bore you I used the psorexderm cream on my son twice a day all over his body. At first it looked like it was getting worse but when I looked carefully, it seemed all I had to do was wash of the scabs. His skin was so dry and itchy it would wake him up out of his sleep and he would be screaming. I've cried myself to sleep because I could not do anything for him. None of the lotions worked as far as keeping him moisturized and all the doctors would do is prescribe cortisone and benedryl which didn't work. For the first time in six months (his age now), my son's skin feels like a baby's skin is supposed to feel. I just can't thank you enough for what you have done for my little angel. He smiles even more than he used to. You gave my son's smile back to me and that is priceless and again I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please share my story on your web site I want everyone to know what you have done for me.
Miss Lisa, Staten Island, New York
Thank you for your very heart-felt comments below, I'm sure David will be very gratified to hear about how his Psorexderm Cream has been a benefit for the excema suffered by your [infant] son, and brought back a smile to both your baby son and his Mum! Thank you for allowing us to add your story to our web site, I have removed your surname and son's name for privacy reasons. David will answer your other question via e-mail.

I ordered your hypoallergenic face and body balm however I only used it about a week when it fell to the floor of the bathroom and the jar broke. Can I suggest using plastic to eliminate future problems of this sort- I had to throw out the cream as I was afraid there would be glass fragments in it, plus there was glass on the floor. I realise it is my fault but I kept the product in the bathroom for ease of access. Thank you
As discussed via e-mail, quite a while ago we changed nearly all of our cream and balm products in the 200\250 gram and 500gram ranges over to break resistant Plastic Tubs. Changing the 100gram range from glass jars to a plastic container would add a bit to the cost, however we are still thinking about this one ... thanks for your idea

Dear Mr. Hosking, Your Lavender Face & Body Balm is fantastic. I am a first time mom of a 5 month old baby girl. Since she was 2 months old, she developed a rash on her left cheek. We took her to the Pediatrician and he said it was just dry skin and to use Aquafor, or .5% hydrocortisone. Well, as time went on, the rash got worse. The rash turned into these little blisters and she would scratch it until it would bleed. Nothing we used was helping. I finally went on line and searched baby rashes and came to your website. I was a little sceptical, but since it was guaranteed, I decided to try it. I have been using it for 5 days now, and the rash is almost gone! It\'s truly amazing! Thank you so much! I hated to see my baby girl with that awful rash on her face and I felt so bad because there was nothing I could do. Your product is a life saver!
Thank you for your detailed feedback, greatly appreciated

Having tried various other natural products recommended to us our son\'s facial Eczema (atopic dermatitis) we have been overjoyed at the time it took for him to experience relief from the dry redness - a matter of days. As also recommended by David we used it for his cradle cap which was rather thick in some areas. It too worked an absolute treat overnight and Keenan\'s scalp is now as good as a new born baby\'s scalp. It is just so reassuring to know this product is natural and within days it has provided relief for an ailment that Keenan has had for a few months now. Thanks so much David - I will be recommending you to all the other mums I know in NZ!

I read through your product details and ingredients and notice you use lanolin as one of your ingredients. Our family is prone to lanolin intolerance? My grandson is six months old, he has infantile excema all over his body, with the areas behind his knees being the worst affected. I use neat lavender essential oil on my own skin along with vaseline, because I suffer from the type of excema which blisters on my hands, and have found it to be the only cure for me. I am concerned about using hydrocortisone, as I found it made my skin worse when it was prescribed by my G.P. It thinned the skin and made it crack and split, causing more problems of bleeding and infection. I used many products over a period of seven years and found out of desperation that lavender is the only thing which works. I was wondering how I would go about using it on my grandson, as I appreciate you cannot use neat essential oils on a baby so young. Jeannette

MY BABY HAS A SMELLY RASH AOUND AND BETWEEN THE FOLD OF HER NECK AND I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD HELP. THANKS. xx@BELLSOUTH.NET
Hi BM, What you describe is very common, with the proviso that I haven't seen the rash, it is very likely to be in the creases of the skin folds and appear quite red, damp and possibly raw. There should be no crust.
Our lavender balm is ideal to protect the skin in these skin folds. You apply it about 1-2mm thickly at night and also apply it before and after feeds during the day. This provides waterproof protection and mild antiseptic action to rapidly heal the rash.
You may find the rash is where her clothes touch her neck, again the Lavender Balm will protect the area and also minimise friction against the clothing should this be happening. Please let me know if you need further help. Kind Regards, David Hosking.

Hi David,

Just wanted to give you another update on my son Caelan.
His excema is totally cleared up and we no longer have to
liberally coat him in the balm twice a day. I still use it on
his face as it is the most sensitive skin friendly moisturiser
I have ever found and he is teething and hence drooling and will
get a rash without it. My husband and I are so pleased with
this product. I guess I just wanted other people to know that
the sticky liberal usage isn't forever and that once the skin
clears up the balm keeps it that way.
Thankyou.
We tried many products for both myself and Caelan and
yours is the only one I have come back to time and time again.

Comments: Can women use the cream you recommend for jock itch also.
e-mail me back at xxxxxxxx@yahoo.com
thanks
Our Tinea ointment is suitable for jock itch in women. It is very strong and
should be applied as sparingly as possible before bedtime.
If any irritation occurs discontinue use. This is unlikely to happen.
I assume you have first tried the creams containing Miconazole and
clotrimazole like Daktarin and Canesten.
I would try these first and if not successful then our product should work.
Kind Regards,
David Hosking.
P.S. If you are not aware of the products I have mentioned, email me with

Comments: Dear David - Could you please contact me at my email address
XXXXXXXXXXX@optusnet.com.au as I could not find your email address.
Could you please recommend what my husband Peter should use on his scalp (head)
for Seborrheic Kerotosis diagnosed by his dr. years ago and are spreading and look
gross and feel gross although he says they do not itch. Because they are still slowly
spreading and covering such a large area I feel we should do something about it.
Could you please send me an email with your recommendation
-I have read about your products and weould like to give them a go.
Can you help?.........Of course you will get the best ever testamonial if this works.
Peter\'s wife, Western Australia.

I am afraid I can do little to help your seborrheic Keratosis problem.
(This problem is a different to Seborrheic Dermatitis which we have a great
product for) Seborrheic Keratoses is very common in Australia and it is
important to rule out the posibility of a skin cancer. The problem looks like a dark
"piled on" lump on the skin.

Seborrheic Keratoses first appear in people from age 30years and older.
High exposure to sunlight can increase the chance of getting them. It is
important that a doctor excludes the possibility of cancer by doing a
biopsy, taking a small part of the skin and having it examined at a
pathology Lab. to ensure it is not cancerous. Although uncommon, cancer may develop
under the keratosis even if you have had it for years so any change in the lump
should be checked.

Sebhorreic Kertatoses are treated by removal which can be done on small
lumps by freezing with liquid nitrogen. Larger areas may need treatment by
cosmetic Laser. The main problem with Seborrheic Dermatoses is they appear ugly
and if they are raised and on the head they can catch on combs.,

A great big THANKYOU to you. The Nappy Rash cream really did work. I don\'t normally beleive in miracles but i have been really impressed. My son had nappy rash since he was 3 weeks old and we have only cleared it up at 11 weeks due to the cream.

I tried Sudocrem, Vasline, Metanium , wiping his bottom with olive oil, baby lotion - keeping him out of a nappy whenever we were at home and nothing worked I was prescribed anti fungal cream as well and no joy. I shall recommend you to all my friends

I have been suffering with Scalp Psoriasis for several years, and tried many treatments none of which have worked. This condition is driving me mad, please help. Are there any side effects with your scalp lotion? Cccccc Sssssss United Kingdom

Hi Cccccc, Our product has a penetrating oil base with 10% salicylic acid to break up and remove flakes and scaling and 10% coal tar which acts to reduce flake formation, relieve itching and return scalp skin formation to a more normal state. The high potency of our product plus the overnight contact time with the scalp produces results which often cannot be achieved with shampoos or cortisone lotions. The product is applied directly to the scalp at night with the dropper supplied and left on overnight. In the morning, shampoo is applied to the hair and the product washed out. For good results this needs to be done daily for about 2 weeks. This can be inconvenient but results are excellent. Once the scalp has returned to normal, I recommend using any good tar based shampoo once or twice a week as maintenance treatment. The problem may recur after some months and then the treatment will need to be repeated. Good results occur in most people within 14 days. The product has a 100% money back guarantee if it does not perform to your satisfaction. Hope this helps, Kind Regards, David Hosking.

Dear David I have today taken delivery of my scalp lotion, however I am a little concerned as it is in a bottle which states "Poison" - excuse me for being dim. Is this correct, and is it poison, it smells quite potent. Is it harmless if you get it on your hands/face or smell it from the bottle and are there any side effects? I could not see any testimonials on the website. Your comments would be appreciated. Kind regards Cccccc

Hi Cccccc, The Psoriasis Scalp Lotion is poisonous if you drink it but not if handled. Labelling Legal requirements in Australia require any liquid that would be harmful if swallowed to be packed in a ribbed poison bottle so people who are blind can easily identify it as not to be taken, Also it is required to be clearly labelled so people will not swallow it. It is quite potent and very effective. The smell is not toxic and the ingredients are not a problem unless swallowed. It is safe to handle with your hands, skin and scalp. If you have any open sores on your scalp you may get some slight stinging. If this is severe discontinue the product but it is very rare this would occur. The results you can expect are a rapid improvement in the scalp condition. It is an intensive treatment so daily washing is advised until you are happy with the results. (say 7 to 14 days) However having sounded cautiously negative so far, the product is rapidly effective. We sell quite a lot of it with good results. Of course, I guarantee it 100% as you know. As for no testimonials on the website, I hadn't actually noticed that! My procedure for getting testimonials is as follows, if a person writes to me with comments I feel would make a good testimonial, I write back asking them if they would mind if I use them on the website after de-identifying them. So they are all genuine, I just haven't got one for the psoriasis lotion yet. I hope perhaps you may be able to write me one soon? The best "testimonials" are the majority of people who just reorder the products without comments!! Here is an actual example suitably de-identified which may reassure you ...DELETED... I hope this reassures you and I look forward to you letting me know the results you get. Kind Regards, David Hosking.

My 22 month old son is very healthy, but every once in a while he gets a red rash on his cheeks, he did have it once as a newborn and the doctor gave him a cream, but I would rather not use harsh antibiotic creams on his sensitive skin. He also has a small rash in the crooks of his knees, we assumed was just a heat rash, but we live in Canada, and right now it\'s winter, so an average daily temperature is about -20 degrees celcius. So I am ordering your lavender facial balm for him, I hope it helps because right now his cheek seems to be painful and itchy. Thanks.

David's Response - Infant rashes can be caused by dry conditions which often occur in hot, dry climates such as the goldfields in Kalgoorlie Australia and cold climates in winter such as Canada and the United Kingdom. These places all have very low humidity which tends to dry out the skin. Check that the rash appears similar to the pictures on this site. If so, then our lavender balm is an ideal choice. Check to ensure there is no crustiness or weeping from the area affected by the rash which may indicate the rash is caused by infection. You are welcome to email a digital image of the rash to me if you are in any doubt.
Kind Regards, David.

Hi, I am always searching for my son. He has quite severe excema all over, he is now 7. The only problem we have found is finding somethng that he is NOT allergic to. He has over 40 allergies and these include viamin E liquid/cream, most of the allergy creams (such as most sorbelenes/QV etc) coal tar/aloevera, and he also has many other allergies inluding anaphylaxis to nuts/eggs products and yellow dyes. So as you can see most things we try or use are deadly to him. We currently use a combination of advantin & elecon alternated, along with a mix or soft white and liquid parrafin cream/baby oil/daily phenurgan/daily periactin/wet dressings some days/frequent redipred along with many vitamins and oils and acidophilus. Our sons skin now is the best it has ever been but it is at the cost of using many many chemicals on his skin. Do you have any other creams that may be suitable for my son? Im afraid your cream listed here due to the coal tar is not suitable, but we are hopeful that maybe you have another or are possibly lookign into develping more creams at a later date? Thankyou for listening
Cindy (xxxxxxxx@optusnet.com.au)

David's Response:- Hi Cindy, I have a version of our lavender balm without lavender in it which seems to help in many cases of allergy. It contains White soft paraffin, Pure Lanolin (United States Pharmacopoeia grade),propylene glycol ,zinc oxide and chlorhexidine. If he is not allergic to any of these ingredients I recommend you try it as a replacement for the white/liquid paraffin mix you are using and keeping the rest of the treatment the same. It is easier to apply and the chlorhexidine is a mild antiseptic which helps when the skin is damaged. Yours is a difficult situation and this could help.
Kind Regards, David Hosking.

I have worked with Moonee Valley council for 14 years and have sent numerous mothers to your pharmacy for your wonderful creams. I have finally got around to looking at your web site as I feel it would be far easier to hand out the odd flyer rather than writing your address down and going into lengthy explanations about your products. How about a printer-friendly honed-down version of this site, so multiple copies can be printed without wasting too much ink? (or have I missed something that is already here) thanks.
Virginia xxxxxxxx. Ascot Vale XXXX 9XXX XXXX (my email address at work is xxxx@mvcc.vic.gov.au
David's Response - We greatly appreciate your personal referrals for David's Cream's. I have thought about reproducing David's Color Flyer's in PDF document format on the web site (happening SOON), which should in theory be easy to print although they would probably come out as two pages on a typical color inkjet. However using a inkjet to print color pages is relatively expensive. ### So if you would to e-mail back your work address at MCHC, and which flyers (and how many) I could get the Pharmacy to mail them to you ?! Alternatively, we could try to make up and e-mail you a one A4 page that summarises all David's treatments and includes the Pharmacy contact details.

for about the last 6 months i have been going crazy!!!! i finally went to the dr about 3 mths ago & he thought i had sebhorreic dermatitis. he gave me some cortisoid lotion and it didnt work. i am not a dirty person i shower and wash my hair on a daily basis. he said this was happening due to stress.it has since gotten worse i am losing my hair due to the fact that it wont stop itching. i am a 34 yr old woman and it is very depressing. do you think honestly that this product would work for me? over the last few months i have spent over $1000.00 in products. from dandruff shampoo to tea tree oil.. thank you for taking the time to read this.
stacy xxxxxxxxxx xxxx@yahoo.com
David's Response - Hi Stacy,
A digital photo will certainly help me advise you better. When you say you have been on anti-biotics, I assume that was that for your scalp or do you have other medical conditions? MRSA is a very hard bacteria to eliminate if you are in poor health and run down, but if you are in good health it should be possible to clear it up with diligent treatment. Originally the term MRSA meant methicillin resistant staph. aureus (Golden Staph) but these days it has become resistant to so many antibiotics the term MRSA is taken to mean Multiple Resistant Staph. Aureus. I assume the test for mrsa is being done with swabs or skin scrapings from your scalp, is that correct? The good news is Bactroban is certainly the antibiotic of choice for mrsa skin infections. The ointment is preferable to the cream even though they are of the same % active ingredient. Ointments are occlusive which means they form a barrier on the skin which increases penetration. In my opinion, I would not put any cortisone products near it if it is an infection as cortisone reduces the body's immune response. Of course, your doctors can see it and I can't so do be guided by them. However always ask them any questions that this may bring up. You would be best to shampoo the hair every day (yes, I know it's a hassle) with the neutrogena (it's as good as any shampoo for the problem.) Then dry your hair (and scalp) completely before applying the bathrobe ointment ensuring you apply it to an area at least 1centimetre bigger than the affected area of your scalp. Treatment must continue for some weeks after the problem has been eliminated to ensure no recurrence. My Scalp lotion could be of assistance in combination with the bactroban as it contains salicylic acid (and coal tar) which would be unfavourable to the growth of mrsa. However just use the Bactroban with the neutrogena at this stage and it should work for you. If all else fails, let me know and I see if I can make some more suggestions. However the Bactroban seems an excellent choice to me. (Just get the ointment instead of the cream, it's greasier but a bit better.) Let me know how you get on. Kind Regards, David Hosking.
