Q&A - Treating baby's serious Atopic Dermatitis problem

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS(S)

Hi David,

I've ordered your product-Lavender Facial Balm. My baby (6 months old) has serious atopic dermatitis problem, his skin is getting worse day bay day.

My family doctor gave him antibiotic ointment and disinfection ointment. He advised me to put on these ointment on his skin 3 times per day, I follow his instructions, unfortunately, i didnt find any improvements on his skin but also I could fine he has lot of wounded parts has water comes out, it is quite sticky.

I have questions,

(1) can i put on this Facial Balm on his skin now, will it make him gets more worse.?

(2) How many times per day should I put on this balm on his skin?

ANS: (1+ 2) Use the lavender balm immediately EVEN if the skin is broken or wounded. Use it in the morning, before and after each feed, after his bath and at bedtime. It should protect the broken skin so it can heal more easily. Apply it thickly so you can see the balm shining on the skin.

(3) If i use your balm, should i need to stop using any ointment given by my family doctor?

ANS: (3) Could you tell me the name of the ointment the Doctor has prescribed? Then I can advise you further.

As i know, when there are any wounded parts on skin, it'd better not to put on any cream, is that right?

ANS: (4.) Use a bath oil in the babies bath water. (You are probably doing this already.)

I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you very much

Best regards K
Kind Regards,
David Hosking

Hi Kathy,

(1 & 2) Use the balm immediately even if the skin is broken or wounded.
Use it in the morning, before and after each feed, after his bath and at bedtime.
It should protect the broken skin so it can heal more easily.
Apply it thickly so you can see the balm shining on the skin.

The skin will start improving immediately. Good results should be seen after
7 days. Treatment should continue until the skin has healed.
The skin should not get worse.

(3) Could you tell me the name of the ointment the Doctor has prescribed?
Then I can advise you further.

(4) Use a bath oil in the babies bath water. (You are probably doing this already.)

If you send me a digital picture of the wounded skin area that would help me
advise you better.

Kind Regards,
